It’s Not Over Yet: Catching the Magic of the Season with Fur-You

It’s Not Over Yet: Catching the Magic of the Season with Fur-You

Showing up isn't just about markets and sales. It's   about the connection, the exchange, the stories you   and I get to share — especially through our dogs, our quirks, and our shared love for the planet.

Community in Action — Where  You'll Find Us This Season

We're being intentional with the markets and events   we commit to — choosing those that reflect our  values of sustainability, connection, and care. While  also reflecting the kind of spaces that make our  community shine: thoughtful, local, and full of heart.

Pints & Paws – Saturday 18 October | Terminus Hotel

Our first stop on the festive trail!

We'll be there hosting our Doggie Mirror Check, donating from every mirror moment to a rescue / pet welfare cause (to be confirmed at the event). Where every curious pup helps raise funds for the cause.

The Barkday Fair – 8 November | Melbourne Dog Clinic, Camberwell

This event's shaping up to be pure fun— a puppy treasure hunt, over 30 stallholders, and a beautiful collaboration with a vet clinic that champions force-free care (just as we do in our designs).
It's always lovely to stand alongside those who share our compassion for dogs and the planet.

Treasures & Tastes at Trinity – 15 November | Surrey Hills

A local favourite that celebrates handmade, homegrown creativity.
We'll be there among other local makers, sharing our screen-printed sustainable dog wear and festive spirit.

Possible Christmas Market Surprise – late November / early December

We're keeping this one under wraps for now, but if you've ever wandered church yards that make an excellent hub of creativity in Melbourne's most beloved art and design market in late November, you might already have a clue. 😉
Stay tuned — it's one we're very excited about.

Looking Ahead to December? Absolutely.

We won't rush the holiday sparkle — but we will carry it forward. Expect pop-up moments, thoughtful offers, and ways to be part of our journey even if you can't make it in person.
To all of you who follow along, support, cheer, or quietly observe — thank you. You matter.

These gatherings are more than dates on a calendar; they're reminders that small brands like ours thrive because of big-hearted communities like yours.

So as the year winds down, we're choosing to look outward — to meet, laugh, share stories, and celebrate what makes this season special.

Style, Connection & Conscious Choices for Urban Dog Parents

Our dogs give us more than companionship — they give us reasons to connect. Every walk, every visit to a market or café, becomes a moment to share smiles, stories, and sometimes a quiet nod of understanding between pet parents.

That's why we love showing up at community events: they're not just for the dogs — they're for us, too. These moments ease the loneliness our pets (and we) sometimes feel, turning ordinary outings into small acts of belonging — perfect for apartment-dwelling dogs and their humans in Melbourne's inner suburbs.

And when you dress your pup in something thoughtfully made, it often sparks a conversation — about art, sustainability, and shared values. Our screen-printed designs are conversation starters with purpose, blending style and sustainability for those who care about both.

Because for us, fashion should always feel good — guilt-free fashion for conscious pet parents who believe in beauty that doesn't cost the earth.

Why Community Means Everything

It's easy to think small brands live in competition. But in reality, we thrive through collective energy. Every conversation, every connection at a stall, every mirror check and shared photo — these are the threads that knit our community together.

When you walk up to our stall, admire a design, or pause at the mirror with your dog, you're not just interacting with Fur-You — you're participating in something bigger. You're reinforcing that beauty, ethics, and heart can coexist, and that your choices as a pet parent carry weight.

So here's to catching the magic before the year slips away.
To choosing presence over perfection.
To celebrating what brings us together: paws, people, purpose, and creativity.
To supporting small makers.

If you can't make it to every event, that's okay — you're still part of the journey.
